Students
begin to understand and speak the Spanish language as
soon as possible accompanied by a solid learning method,
with a grammatical base developed within a communicative
context.
Our
method is designed specially for foreign students and
we emphasize communication by using much interaction.
Covering all aspects of language learning (speaking,
listening, writing and reading skills), our high-quality
Spanish programs are specially designed for foreign
students and are taught in Spanish.
AIE
applies the basic principles of the communicative focus
of teaching the spanish language:
- the way of conceiving the process of teaching and
learning as communicative as possible.
- the way of designing the activities of learning as
projecting the perception of the language understood
as a means of communication.
therefore, the communicative focus understands spanish
as a foreign language as following the basic principles
of:
- using the language for a communicative purpose
- considering the student the pivot of the curriculum
- developing communicative competence,
- understanding the student's necessities and expectations
as regards learning
- emphasizing on significant negotiating: providing
the student with the opportunity of participating in
significant communicative interactions and responding
to necessities and benefits of authentic communication.
- pointing out the importance of the socio-cultural
dimension of the language: constantly communicating
culture, not only grammatical contents. to reinforce
this aspect, cultural lessons could be offered, where
the student deal with specific contents of their interest,
such as history, tourism, geography, etc.
group lessons should be given by two teachers working
as a pedagogic team, one of them teaching the first
part of the lesson, the other the second. both of them
organize the contents of the course on a weekly basis,
in mutual agreement on the students' language level
and necessities. The teachers stay in permanent contact
with the students so they can solve any kind of problem
or improve the students' activities of learning.
We
work with own materials and books designed for an intensive
and progressive understanding of the Spanish grammar
and its uses in the speech. We guarantee a permanent
supervision of each student with reduce groups. This
allows the adjustment of the course to the needs of
each student.
Our
learning method is based on seven levels: from beginner
to superior level. It provides an excellent combination
of grammar and communicative contents for each level,
achieving the maximum understanding of the Spanish language
as soon as possible regarding the different degrees
of complexity of each level. The initial levels of the
students, the hours of each level and the type of selected
program are considered by our methodology in order to
provide the grammar contents that each student can learn
appropriately.
From
the placement test in the first day of classes, students
have a constant supervision of our staff of teachers.
They are highly trained to identify the difficulties
as well as the progress of each student.
From
the first day of classes, you will achieve the knowledge
to present yourself, to request and to give information,
to make purchases, to make reservations, etc. Regarding
our different levels, our learning method offers the
possibility to learn the Spanish language through different
kind of activities and tools: conversational exercises,
reading informative materials, written exercises, actively
participate speaking and listening, progressive understanding
of the cultural context, journalistic, historical texts,
understanding the way of life of the local people, interviews,
take notes during lectures, expose a subject to their
classmates, work with audio and video material, formal
communicative situations, completing the successful
immersion in the local culture with our cultural activities
program.

this way, the learning process of our students is accompanied
by a solid educational system.
