Catedral Mountain Excursion
Length of trip: 40 km.
	We take you to see the most important Ski Resort in South America located 40 km. distance from the town. A walk through the shopping center and Catedral Village at the bottom of the mountain enjoying the typical architecture of the area and wonderful sceneries. We go along Bustillo Avenue (running by the lake) up to km.8, from here we pass by the Virgin of the snow Grotto, the Catedral Village and arrive to the bottom of the mountain (photo on the right), which is 1000 mts. above sea level.

Catedral Mountain offers excellent facilities as well as various kinds of lifts to give the best services to the thousands of tourists who come here every year. The ski area covers 200 hectares, 67 km. of ski tracks with different slopes according to skiers skills -easy ones, intermediate and experienced- thus offering them diverse options according to level and preference.
	The bottom of the mountain

It has thirty-two lifts with a capacity to carry 21.000 persons an hour on its nine chair lifts, ski lifts, a cable car, two carrousels and two baby lifts, annually used by international competition skiers, beginners, snowboarders, and tourists.

Wonderful landscapes and a good variety of slopes offer all that which skiers can fully enjoy. Certain areas have been kept untouched, just there to be discovered, and to surprise visitors at each step.

All kind of Winter sports can be practiced in Catedral Mountain: cross-country ski, nordic ski, alpine ski, competition ski, snowboard and paragliding.

The mountain facilities are open all year round to enjoy the spectacular scenery and natural beauty, not only on winter.
